Choosing a  Queen’s Counsel as Tax Rat of the Month may at first sight seem strange, but when you realise that Robert Venables QC is featured in this month’s Private Eye you’ll probably begin to understand why.

At a recent UKUncut demonstration against David Hartnett Venables is the person who told the intruders “to depart immediately, before we set the dogs on you”, adding later “You are trespassing scum. Go.”

And this isn’t the first time it’s happened. A couple of years ago he was reported as saying

A girl simply has to open her legs, get pregnant, drop a child and there she is at the head of the benefits queue.
